WALKING IN OLTRARNO A wonderful and relaxing walk with a professional guide of Florence through the ancient streets - just on the other side of the Arno river - and the most fascinating quarters of the city. You can admire the fabulous Palace of the Medici Family, then Pitti Palace and the Santo Spirito Church, the place were Michelangelo sculpted one of his first masterpiece, the wooden crucifix. You will visit the Florentines artisans workshops, the charming popular squares and then you will climb on the top of the hill to visit the marvellous Romanesque church of San Miniato and discover his dark secrets and intrigues. Finally the most wonderful and superb sight of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo will be the necessary step to immerse yourself in the ancient heart of the city of Florence.
Meeting point 15 minutes before the starting time in Pitti square (Piazza Pitti) in the front of the main entrance of Pitti Palace.
